Maintenance Funds

Hello,
I have been in UK since 12th May 2010 on Tier 2 visa. I am planning to change this into a HSMP Tier 1 visa.

What is the maintenance fund amount required if I am applying from UK? The website mentions 800 GBP, but since I have been in UK for only 1 month, can I still apply for HSMP with 800 GBP or do I need to maintain 2700 GBP? I am solely applying, and I am not applying for any dependents.

If you are applying Tier-1 general within UK , then you need to maintain 800pounds as your maintenance funds for 90 days in your account.
In your case, if you are allready maintaining the funds for the past one month, then you need to continue maintaining the funds for the next two months then only you can claim for the maintenance funds.

The 800 GBP amount has been maintained by me since 1st April. So I should be fine for applying in July... right?
