VAF 9 - Year of Award ?

Hi,

Was hoping if one could answer the specific question.
In India, generally we are provided the Degree certificate after passing college after one year of graduating.
e.g. we get the degree certificate in 2006 if we passed out in 2005.

In the VAF9 form, we are expected to fill out the YEAR OF AWARD,

1. What do you think I should fill up here, considering the above case - 2005 or 2006?
2. Also it expects one to enter the start dates and end dates. Do these dates need to be specific, something that the caseworkers could verify and reject an application with ??

1) 2005
2) just take a generic date in the middle of the month date like 15 or so for start & end date.

Yeah, as already suggested above a generic date would be fine. Get the month and year correct.

I have a similar problem...

My certificate shows 2004 since the convocation and award ceremony was held in 2004, even though my classes ended in 2003. Is it a good idea to choose 2003?
