Tier1 - type of bachelor degree

Post by vet » Thu Jun 10, 2010 4:42 pm

Hello All, I have a 3 year bachelor degree tought in Inda(Bsc in IT). I would like to claim 30 points for it.

The Point Based calculator shows 3 types of bachelor degrees,

a) Bachelor degree
b) Bachelor degree (honours / special )
c) Bachelor degree ( Ordinary / Pass)

I am not sure which is the equivalent one for a BSc degree from India. Any idea on which option i should shoose?

Thanks in advance.

I am not sure but I think it is ordinary Bachelor degree (first one). But please wait for advice from seniors or someone who have applied on same basis.

Bachelor in Science(Information Technology)..if it is this then degree is "Bachelors", definitely not hons as suggested above...degrees like BA(pass) fall in the ordinary/pass bracket..hope this clears up your confusion..good luck!!!

I think it falls under the first category. It certainly isn't Honours and I don't believe it is Ordinary/Pass either.

well, it certainly is a Normal Degree.

It cannot be Ordinary/Pass since you didnot opt out of your degree course after second year and claimed for a pass degree.

For more details, refer to the 'Ordinary degree' section in the link below:
