Photographs - format?

Post by lizziet » Mon Jun 14, 2010 1:37 pm

Hi there
We are applying for a fiance visa. As all our photographs are digital, how should we submit them - is it OK to print them off on ordinary paper or do they have to be on photographic paper?
And it it OK just to write the date and the occasion next to each photo?
Thanks.

Yeah just print them out on ordinary paper. A requirement of the fiance visa is that you met before. Having those pictures already proves that. I doubt you need to write the date or occasion but it won't hurt you either.

I much prefer them to be printed at a photographers shop on proper photgraphic paper to clear any doubts in the mind of the ECO that they have not been "doctored" in any way.

Just being safe thats all.

Why pay Boots when you can have them done free. There are a few website offering to print up to 50 fotos for free. You only pay postage of about £1,50

Here is one such link

Every penny saved could be of use to you in future

Thanks Batleykhan, that's great! You're right, we need every penny at the moment with the visa & (hopefully) the wedding to pay for... :D
