Applied tier 1 dependant visa on 29 April 2010 from islamabad...still application under process stutus on the website..anyone who applied on the same date..any update?

Tier 1 Dependant Islamabad : Applied 05May2010

Sent an email to islamabad yesterday asking about the reason why they are sitting on the passport for the last one month (not exactly in this way though). The passport was sent by Abu Dhabi on 17th May to Islamabad.

Sorriii fr the late reply guy.. Wud like to share this good news wit u:)

wit the grace of Almighty Allah my wify gt her visa:DDD MASHALLAH

application submitted 29th apiril

30th sent to isb

9th May status chaned to under process

26th may decision made

27th may sent bak to Pakistan

9th June gerrys called fr collection

I wud say processing time is 15 days at BHC which is rellii good

thn 15 dayzz to get application there in abu dhabi thn 15 dayz to come bak

total time is 1 month 10 dayz

Hi Asad..congrats mate...i applied for my wife same day u applied 29-4-10 from islamabad but still under process status..i didnt call them..do u know the fone no where i should call?

Congrats on getting the visa asad, rest of members please keep informed. Best of luck, InshAllah all shall be good.
Atleast you guys are better off than me, my wife's timelines: applied in JAN and recieved visa in MAY. I would say at average it is 2-3 months.

Amir, there are no major repercussions on delayed entry into the UK. The only thing you have to bear in mind is that when you apply for ILR in future you have to start from the date when you entered UK rather than the date when you were granted the visa.

Submitted my wife application for tier 1 dependant on 31/may (3 weeks ago) at Gerry's in KHI ... status is still showing 'application under process' ... any idea how many days will it take for the status to be changed or shall i contact Dubai for updates???

I have the Good news, Alhamdo lilah my wife got the TIER 1 Dependant visa.

My timelines are kind of the same as asad2asad reported.

The documents I sent were really as present on this thread on earlier pages.

Nothing to share mate, just frustration. My wife's documents were sent back from dubai on 17th may but no response yet. I dont know what do they do with those docs in pakistan which is taking such a long time.

Hi Everyone,
I am just join this forum and found interesting and useful.

My question is my Wife applied for Tier 1 General Migrant dependent visa from Karachi VAC on 7 June 2010. Since I am checking application from https://www.vfsglobal.org. It's keep saying
Application Forward to Islamabad OC on...
what does it exactly mean? Does any1 know how much time to process my wife visa application.

It means that they have got the application but havent started processing it yet.

For processing times, on the basis of other posts on the forum it is around 2 to 3 months.

I have to apply for the dependent visa of my wife. I have got the marriage certificate from NADRA that's in English and Urdu. DO I still need to translate in English or it is sufficient?

Weird! i call this morning to abu dabhi and they said decision has been made on my wife visa application send it back to gerry office soon.... but when i checked the status it still showing same. any idea now after that how much take time to reach gerry office.
will it go to Islamabad first or they send directly to Karachi VAC?

I think it will fine they will see only the English version and proper notify on your marriage certificate....best of luck!

I think tracking system of both VFS and gerry are crap not useful but even Abu Dhabi BHC customer service is really goood. If they said decision has been made and application is sent back to VAC so you must try 2 find out from gerry or Isb BHC. It's will be good idea to fax BHC isb and they will push gerry people.....best of luck!

also previous thread at page 9 from 'asad2asad' he applied 29/4/2010 and her wife get visa in 1 month and 10 days.

hi guys,
i have applied on 28/4/10 from vac khi, when i called abidhabi last week, the lady said we have made the decision and sent it back on 27/5/10 to pakistan.
when i asked the lady did you guys take a positive decision , she replied yes its positive , then i asked shell i start packing , she start laughing and said yes you can.
now guys can i assume that i have got visa??
and what should i do for my passport to come back asap
