Need some advice around ILR

Post by lovingdale » Fri Jun 18, 2010 9:29 pm

I was a student btween 2002 and 2005. In 2005 I changed to work permit.

My first work permit was issued on 14 OCT 2005 and EXP. 31 AUG. 2006

Second Permit Issued 26 SEPT. 2006 and EXP. 31 AUG. 2010.

It seems that I am out by 1 month 17 days to reach the required 5 years. I was hoping to apply in person at the PEO. Can anyone offer any advice, I am panicking.

Thanks in advance

Is it date issue of WP or FLR? Did you have valid leave to remain when you applied your 2nd FLR?

THanks for your reply. All the dates are from Limited Leave to Remain Visa not from the work permit arrangements letter.

I do not have any gaps, what I do have is 1 month 17 days less the 5 years required. Any advice will be welcomed.

Thanks

You can apply only 28 days before qualifying period. You are short of almost 47 days, I think that you need to apply for an extension.

Hi everyone
This is my case so far
Go to first tier court : appeal allowed (11-2013
HO : challenge the decision
The court : dismiss the HO appeal (2-2014
Since then no news from the HO .
What I do next is wait and wait...
Please can anyone help me out with the following
Whst Could happen next ? And when ?
How long do I have to wait before I contact them ?
