How much time I wait after Tier 1 Visa?

Post by pm2010 » Tue Jun 22, 2010 11:51 am

Hi

Once I receive Tier 1 Visa and got stamped.

How much time I stay in my country till the time I find a job in UK and then travel?

Is there any condition that I have to travel to UK in X months time from Visa stamping ?

What about the 28 days entry date? is no longer in use?
Before you have to enter uk before 28days after thr date your visa got stamp , so that you wont have to do 2 extention?
Is that not in use again?

Yes, if you enter within 28 days you will be able to apply for ILR without going for extension second time. Apart from that there is no time limit as such. You can enter anytime before the expiry of visa. But as already said, if you enter after 28 days from the date your visa you will have extend twice before you can apply for ILR.
