How to apply for ILR for children above 18 years?

Post by rejilx » Wed Jun 16, 2010 11:58 am

My daughter will be 19 in December 2010. Can I include her as my dependant when I apply for ILR in December 2010? What will be the fees? Suggestions and advice are welcome, please!

Thanks for the reply. We came together to UK under WP in 2006 Jan and we are now currently under Tier 1.

You can't include her in your application form as a dependant because she is over 18. A separate application form needs to be sent for her, and offcourse a separate fee.

Everything remains the same as your application, just a separate application from.

A separate application form implies an additional expense of £ 1905 . This is illogical considering that my daughter in full time education and is dependant on her parents....Any way out of this ?????
