Tier 1 Spouse Dependant Visa-Medical examination

Hi,

I had applied for the dependant visa of my wife in India, I am myself on Tier-1.We are still awaiting the outcome of application although its been 3 weeks now. Can anyone please tell me that does the high commission ask for medical examination before issuing the visa?I have visa until late 2012 so my wife is expected to get visa until same date, if application is successful.

Hi i think it varied from Application Centre

Reading this forum some people have been called for medicals and some havn't.

I have applied fora Settlement Visa for my wife from VFS Jalandar and BHC Delhi and my wife is going to go for a medical.

Although some people have applied in Mumbai for settlement visas and have not had to go for medicals.

All you can do it sit tight and wait ... Good Luck
