queues start before 7AM. If you arrive at 7 you should get in. Doors open at 7:30 for the desks at 8:00Nomad81 wrote:Does anyone here know what time the queues start? I read on another forum that I should start queuing at 3:30 am, but I would say that's overkill.
So, were you there at 2 am? What number did you get and what time were you done with it?romies wrote:i am also got there 6:10 but cant get the ticket.they have wriiten names and number on the list but it is only formality.my number is 221 but cant get ticket.i asked how many tickets will you give they said 240 in a day.monday i will go at 2 am.hope so getting the visa
WTF! I don't understand why they can't introduce an appointment system like pretty much all the Irish embassies.romies wrote:yes i have got there at 2:am i got the ticket no 128. Some people are at 8:pm.Its a very long que.
Trust me, I would go down this route if I had a choice. I travel for work every week, so handing over my passport for two weeks, means I have to stay at home while the visa is being done. Just not an option for me.agniukas wrote:instead of trying to get there so early every morning for several nights, wouldnt that be easier just to post the applications and relaxingly wait for them to come back by post?
i guess if most people have done that, there would be only the urgent cases at the door, and not so many...
how can the guy queu at 5pm day before? thats impossible i think.myimmigrationboards wrote:friend of mine was there last week at 3am but she couldnt get a ticket then following day she was there 12.15am and she got 128.,
by 1 o'clock afternoon she got the visa.,
the guy who had no.1 was there at top of the Q at 5pm day before. (15 hours waiting).
there were other people there too who posted there passports and never heard from visa section., visa officer was giving the same answer to everyone: (you will get ur passport tommorow by post).
i think this is all causing by work to rule strike.
I walked past the INIS on the way home after dinner with friends. I think it was around 11:30 pm and there was no queue to be seen. There were people outside hanging out and having a drink, but they were Polish, so no visa needed for them.myimmigrationboards wrote:friend of mine was there last week at 3am but she couldnt get a ticket then following day she was there 12.15am and she got 128.,
