Does your visa sticker "must be accompanied by EU spouse"? That was written on my husbands German Schengen Visas. In this case you shouldn't be able to travel without your spouse. Having said that, any time we entered Germany we entered separately (EU and non EU queues) and an officer never asked to see me.

At another point, my husband had a Schengen from Sweden and travelled 2 days ahead of me (the EU spouse) there, and entered without problem. Maybe it depends on the immigration officer?
