After completing my studies, can i work as self-employed?

Hello

I got student visa in July 2009 and would be completing my studies in Dec 2010. But my visa expires in June 2011.

I got 6 months in spare after studies, can i work as self-employed in that period? I cann't switch to PSW because i already used my IGS.


Any little information would be appreciated.

You can claim up to 2 years of IGS or PSW.

Before you argue on this point AGAIN, please look in to IGS to PSW transition arrangement.

i think u can only work upto 3 months once u finished ur course...

no.if you finish your studes on student visa you cant work self emplyed on student visa.you need to get psw.befor you start self emplyed...dont do this mistake...in future your visa will rejected
