Envelop is white A3 posted from PO BOX 306 L2 0QN. Each member of my family (wife and 2 kids) received their own envelopes.

I have booked for a private ceremony for 8th July @£30 quid. It is only reducing the waiting time by 1 week but I reckon it is worth it based on the long and expensive journey I been through. I hope yours comess soonest too.

Same thing happened to me i received an email the letter was sent yesterday but it could take 7 days to arrive.I phoned them up explained the situation and asked for a reference number.They refused it i have been told to wait for the letter.

I got the original doc back as well. aslo littel not to say that my passport application is being processed.i ask them them for ref number they said i had to wait for the letter to book an appoiment. strange.. i dont know how come they gave you ref number over the phone not for me.

wow thats really quick.. did you get a letter from them or did you call IPS to find out the interview details.? and i aslo did you send your original passport with PR. did they return this to you already..?

I applied for passport on 16 June and attended IPS interview yesterday. Questions were quite simple

name and spelling
current address
how I applied
Referee age
questions about my parents
and how many people live with me at current address

About five minutes or so

no question about credit report, mortgage, credit cards and banks etc

fingers crossed for Wednesday

I applied on Wednesday and received my original documents back on next Wednesday. Called IPS same day and they gave me ref number to book interview. Luckily got interview space on Saturday and that was really it.

They apparently made the decision within 10 days of receiving my application. I'm quite amazed and immeasurably grateful!

I called them few times. one of the agent gave me the ref number over the phone I got my interview sorted now.. Good luck with yours..

I've seen some posts, especially joelondon who I feel for, where you haven't heard for weeks. Don't despair, you'll find out sooner or later. Although it is difficult, refrain from thinking about it too much. Perhaps forget about it altogether to calm yourselves down. I did, and I was surprised and happy when I read my letter. So joelondon, my good friend, promise me that for the next two weeks you won't be worrying and posting on this blog, and who knows, your prayers might just get answered
