URGENT ....!!! Tier 2 ICT to Tier 1 G without ICFN

Post by aryan_cyrus » Thu Jul 01, 2010 8:24 pm

Hi All,
I am in UK and recently got my Tier 2 ICT extended. Have received passport etc back on 14th june 2010 but no sign of ICFN yet. Have spoken to HO as its been more than 10 wrking days. They say it is still in prodcution and they have some technical problem. Has anyone had the same experience with them recently ?
I have to apply for my Tier 1 G switch in next week before 8th July 2010 otherwise I wil be disqualified (Age).
Can someone please advise me if I can apply my (same day or Postal) application without my first ICFN enclosed. Will HO consider my aplication as this late ICFN is their fault and not mine. yeah..I knw it is 'The home office'...

But please help...!! many thx.

Yes but the news talks about 'identity cards for British citizens'. And I am waiting for my ICFN of Tier 2ICT.

The contact senter (0870 number) says they are not case worker so can not advise if the application w/o ICFN (or Biometric Residence Permits) will be valid. Has anyone applied a switch w/o current leave's ICFN ?
