Include Onsite Allowance? - Urgent - Apply before 19th July

Post by ricky37d » Fri Jul 02, 2010 8:25 am

Hi All

I managed to find this forum while searching and I am overwhelmed by the kind of help provided by all. Simply Amazing!!

One thing I couldnt search though was about my US onsite allowance:

Scenario : I was in US for 2 months on a BUSINESS VISA, so I was paid $100 per day. This was not against bills - just a straight $100 for a day and I had to manage my hotel + living expenses in that allowance

Query : Can I include my allowance ( I know I cannot use uplift ratio ) to the total earnings I am showing. I did not get any pay slips for this BUT, I have a written contract which clearly shows I will be paid that $100 amount per day for the duration of stay.

If I include this then I get 75 points. I will miss the train if I dont apply before 19th July as the min points are being raised from 75 to 80.

Please help!!
Thanks a Ton!

I don't think so, your pay slips do not mention correct?

What is considered (your Gross income) . See the Policy guidance for allowance types.
