Anyone have experience with Royal Mail International Signed?

Post by abbas_ali » Wed Jul 07, 2010 1:05 pm

I sent documents a week today to Pakistan and they have not yet been received using International Signed For.

I was told it would be 3-5 working days. I regret not sending DHL now but they are so expensive.

Anyone have experience with how long this normally takes?

It tracks on the royal mail site for 4-5 days now as saying it has been recieved by the postal services in pakistan but i have no information as to where it is!

Well it could take 10 days alltogather(including the time taken by pakistan post  )

Dont worry the receiver will receive it(provided that correct address was mentioned) but it will take a while.

Registered Air mail sent from the UK normally takes a maximum of 10 days in pakistan,so just dont include weekends. :(

Hope this helps.

Hi abbas_ali

I sent a letter with this service to albania on saturday 3/7/10 - the document arrived in albania yesterday, however, it has still not arrived at the specified address (my partners). Perhaps, as navalaviator says, it may take up to 10 days as it has to make it's way though the local postal service aswell.

I'm sending a very important document to my partner soon so I think I'm going to send it by courier, much more expensive than post but I cannot afford for to arrive late.
