I will applying for TIER1 GENERAL on monday ...

submitted following with all supporting evidences.

Age - Passport

Qualification - Degree Convocation certificate, Marksheets

Previous Earnings - i)10 months payslips April 2009 - JAN 2010, Bank statements (KOTAK) signed and stamped with seal. ii)Onsite allowance slips of FEB / MARCH 2010 and Orginal HSBC UK Bank statements of FEB 2010 and March 2010.

English Language Requirement:- Degree certificate (PBS shows this)

Maintenance funds :- 3 months bank statements of UK HSBC

Forms :- VAF9, PBS Appendix1, PBS calculator self assessment

Please guide and correct if requried...

make sure that you have 2 photo copies of everything including your form else they will ask to make copies in there office which will waste your time.

No they will kep it with them. They will make 3 sets of your application. one with all the original and 2 sets of copies. I dont know why but they do.

The policy guidelines doesn't mandate a covering letter. Although it is useful to list out the documents you have submitted, it is not a mandate.
