I am just about to submit my application and documents, I am in a dire need to your expert review if anything is missing:

1- Age
Passport

2- Qualifications
Original Certificate (in English)

3- Previous earnings
Payslip of the past 12 months stamped and signed by the payroll manager
and
Original Bank Statements ( 1 July 2009 - 30 June 2010 )

4- English
Original IELTS certificate (6.5)

5- Funds
Original Bank Statements ( 1 April 2010 - 30 June 2010 ).


- In addition to the 2 forms: (I am singles applying for the first time from outside UK)

It looks very good. I guess you might have prepared a covering letter already along with your application.

1. Passport Size Photos - UK standard

2. In addition to these documents I would suggest you to keep a copy of "vaf9docchecklist".

This document helps you in noting down the documents that you are sending to home office. If you are not able to mention all the documents in this form, then prepare your own checklist and attach to it.

Please let me know from where you are applying. The reason is I applied from USA and already paid the fee through online and completed bio-metric. So I must attach the online payment receipt and bio-metric receipt along with application. I guess in India, we need to walk into VFS and finish the formalities.

I forgot to mention about the photocopies. Please print 2 copies of all your documents and keep it along with original application.

Thank you for your reply. I have to visit the Visa centre to finish it.

Could you please clarify why I should attach 2 copies of the original docs to my application ?
