I'm currently on a work permit visa and applying for a transfer to tier 1. Under my work permit scheme I'm allowed supplementary employment subject to a few conditions. I have fulfilled all those requirements and have done some supplementary/part time work.
I was going through my original contract (main employer) and noticed that there is a clause that I need their permission before taking up any other employment. They are currently not aware of my part time work.
Now the dilemma is that I need to include the salary from my part time work in order to qualify for tier 1 (otherwise I'm short of £750) and am concerned about the risk of my main employer finding out about my part time employment.
Can the home office contact my main employer and tell them that I have a second job? What are the chances of that happening? My main employer is a well known company that sponsors numerous employees for work permits/tier 1 visas.
Thanks
