Traffic light offences

Post by umtstest » Sun Jul 11, 2010 5:16 am

Hi please can you help
I am cuurently living and working in North America and I want to apply on Tier 1 General. My qualification and earning will be enough to land me 80 points. in the late 1980s I was a student in the UK and I had a car accident with anoth motorist. The case went to magistrate and court and I was made rsponsible and my insurance paid compensation to the other party. My driver licence was still valid at that time but I don't remeber exactly what was the decision. I called UK driving licence and they told me that they don't have record. I still like to mention it in section 6.9 but I wasn't able to have full info.
Please can I mention that I had the accident but don't no exactly the conviction and I mention roughly the year. Is there a good wording I can use.

Thanks
