T2 Application processing delay

Post by mkh » Thu Jul 01, 2010 6:37 am

It has been 6 weeks already since my T2 application. Is this delay normal. Does long delay result in rejection? Any comment?

BHC are sending enquiries on applications and this is causing delays. An Entry Clearance Assistant at BHC confirmed this to me today

Dear Friend,
Did they tell how much time will they take approximately. Are theymaking verifications of the documents of uk or the documents from our home country and are they sending any emails.

No they did not tell me what enquiries they are making. But I guess whenever any detail an applicant writes in the visa application is not sufficient they enquire on it. Say for example previous immigration history, visa rejections, etc. And the government processes in UK is slow. Additionally, this is busy period at BHC.

To muhammad junaid
No they did not say how long it will take. They are in charge now once we have paid the hefty application fee. Its completely upto them when they will take the decision. Yes I also think they may verify documents you submitted to them. Not sure how they send the enquiries email/ telephone/regular post.
