Suggestion Needed regarding VISA application(Urgent)

Post by bhujata_01 » Mon Jul 12, 2010 3:45 pm

Hi,
I have received CAS letter from bedfordshire university today but my course start date is August 4. so its around 15 working days remained.

Can I apply for VISA ? Do you think I will get by August 04. I talked to university and they told me that they will not extend .

Do u think I will apply or I will go for another university Salford University whose start date is in september.

I am from India and will apply from Kolkata Consulate .

The risk is yours and therefore the decision must be yours too!

What if someone suggests that you apply (and you do) but do not get the visa in time, who stands to lose?

Most of Universities start courses in September, how on earth bedfordshire university starting in August !!!

what course is it and is it undergraduate or masters as in under grad first one week or 1o days just start of course not much classes you have at least 2 weeks to start proper classes its usual in most under grad programmes.....

Its your decision.....

thanks for your reply. Yes decision is up to me but point is that i am not aware of average processing time.Thats why I would like your suggestion.

Course is pre-sessional English(4 week) + Master degree(MSc in public health) as my IELTS score is 6.0.

Hi

I think you better apply for september course in some other university as it takes 4 - 14 weeks for visa processing .

For sept . course also u will have to rush to avoid last minute trouble.
