extended stay after 3 months

Hello

Me (Slovenian) and my wife Japanese come to UK at the beginning of April 2010. My wife obtained her FP - (valid till 23.Aug. 2010) before we come here. We are now looking for work.
Since me as an EU citizen can only stay in UK for 3 month on a visitor basis, what happened after 3 month if i still cant get work?

* a jobseeker
* a worker
* a self-employed person
* a self-sufficient person (someone who can support themselves financially) or

so can i be "qualified person" as a jobseeker or a self-sufficient person?
in that case to whom do i need to prove that and how. Which application form do i have to fill and send to whom? do i have to do that before 3 months expired?

I hope I will find some work in the next 4 weeks but just in case, please can someone explain to me what do i have to do before or after 3 months expired.

You are not required to prove it or fill in any application forms.

You do not have to do anything in order for your stay in the UK for longer than three months to remain lawful, provided you are a jobseeker and/or are financially self-sufficient.

The situation is still the same, i had some interviews but so far no luck with getting a job.
As I read my Japanese wife can not apply for eea2 since i am a Slovenian citizen and need to work in UK for 12 months (register to worker registration scheme) before we can apply for residence cards. Instead my wife can (must?) apply for -Family member residence stamps FMRS - to extend her legal stay after her family permit expire. I read application form and as it seems i have to be registered and working in order to my wife can get the FMRS stamp. There is no option in the form for me (as EU husband) to be a job seeker or self sufficient person...

Did anybody here had similar situation or any experience to apply for FMRS when EU partner was without work?

Please give us some suggestion what we should do?
