Tier1 General - Can I apply for my family visa later

Post by umtstest » Tue Jul 13, 2010 11:55 pm

Hi
Please can you help on these two questions:
1. I don't have all the documents ready for my family. Can I apply myself and once I get the Tier 1 General I apply for my wife and kids? Any issues with those who applied for their families later. will they be affected by the cap?

2. My passport still have more than 9 months validity. Can I use for the application and then renew it later

Many thanks

1) You can apply alone but it will be difficult after 19 as the limit will apply to dependent visas as well .

2) It's ok!
Thanks

I don't think it will. Interim limit has no impact on dependents. Any one please can confirm!
