Tier 1- Age points - please help

Post by priyakute » Wed Jul 14, 2010 9:49 am

Hi,

I am planning to submit the Tier 1 - General application on Next Monday.

I need a clarification on Age point calculation.
At the time of application submittion my age will be 29 yrs 4 months.

So please advice me, how much points should i Claim. (20 or 10)
Should we take complete age for calculation ?

Please advice on how much points i can claim.

Under 29 years - 20 points
30 to 34 years - 10 points
35 to 39 years - 5 points

Thanks
Priya

i think PBS asks the Age for calculation and not DoB. Priya might have confusions on whether to enter 29 or 30 as age in PBS...

Yes I am also in more or less similar situation. I will be 29 years and 8 months at the time of lodging an application. And my accountant and lawyer both confirmed my age as 29 and will be awarded a 20 points in full.

If you have ILR (as you claim), why are you applying for Tier 1 (General)??
