Company Acquired by UK Company

Hi

My husband is working in an Organisation which has been recently acquired by a UK based Company, post acquisition the entity has a different name. Now he is expected to move to UK under the ICT skilled Workforce category. Can he apply under this category? Although his work experince with the new entity is only 1 month but with the organisation before the acquisition is more than 2 years.

Does he fit under the ICT Skilled worker category?
