hsmp extension application

hello everybody,

I got my hsmp in aug 2004 and i am due for renewal this aug, i am a doctor and i have a job contract which is valid till this aug, i have at the moment not got any job in hand after august, so please can someone guide me as to how to go about applying for extension and also can i apply for an extension much earlier than 2 months , say in may this year. (2)And also can i apply for an extension much earlier than 2 months, say in may this year.

As a rule you can only apply 2 months before your current HSMP Visa gets over.

Probaly you mean you got HSMP on August 2005 (Not 2004), don't you ?.
Normally people apply 5 weeks before the LTR expire but 2 months in advanced will be fine. If you have already worked for 1 year, in your level although you have got Job in August thereafter, your chance to get extension is very high.
