Tier 2 - Join Client company

Hi Friends

Need a clarification please. I'm working with an Indian IT company and currently in UK at client side (Tier 2 visa valid till another 2 years). If I want to join Client's company (seems my client is ready) then I understand I wont need to go back to India. Client can file a Fresh Tier 2 visa and if it gets approved then new visa will override old one ??

It is not the company that that files a Tier 2 visa, the applicant does. The potential employer only gives a CoS to allow the applicant to apply for leave to enter/remain.

Yes, you won't need to return to India. If a CoS is issued, you may switch (change visa from within UK).
