Query about Tier-2(General)

Dear all,

At the moment i am working in a company under previous 5 years work permit visa. I am planing to apply for Tier-2 –general and right now my wife is in India . By chance if i secured a job offer(CoS) can i apply for Tier-2 visa in first instant and later apply for tier -2 dependent visa for my wife when she will be back to UK in 2 months time from now. i am wondering does it possible to apply for tier-2 visa for me now and later apply for tier-2 dependent visa after one or 2 months time. Hope some one would get back to me and thanks in advance.

if ur visa is going to expire soon then ur visa is more important than visa of ur dependents. i would suggest secure ur visa first and then apply fore ur dependents
