Is the HSMP telephone service open for 24 Hours? Or Do I need to call only during the Office days and Office Hours?

Congratulations Sohana.

Where are you from?

PS. For all the members, it would be better if you could tell us about your location (Either in or out of country applicant) while giving your timeline. :-)

Hi guys,
My application was received on 15th Feb (as told by the courier guys). The decisiion was made on 28th Feb and the documents were dispatched on 1st of March. Thing is that i have not received the documents yet (22 Mar). Also, the HSMP people are not telling the result of the application over phone but they are accepting to the fact that the documents may got lost somewhere. I have called the Royal Mail customer service to get some information possible but they are saying that for normal airmail, they don't keep any record. I enquired in the local post office and they haven't received my documents (although they did delivered the reference number mail on 9th Mar).

Please give me any useful tips which can be of help in this situation. I am a bit worried since i will be losing my original documents.

Thats really bad. The problem is that in this kind of situations you cannot even figure out the actual cause of delay as it is regular airmail. I contacted the royal mail customer service and they told me to wait for 25 working days before filing any claim. HSMP people say that i can file up claim for the lost documents - the claim can be the costs incurred in getting the originals again from various places !!! they also told me that you can raise a request to get another copy of the decision letter from the home office, but this obviously won't solve the bigger issue of losing the original docs.
Did they told you the decision status over phone ? i mean do you know your application status ? i tried asking them twice but they are not telling me.

dear frnds

I recd. my reference number on 16th feb , i was earlier contact the customer services team . they told me that your application is nearing completion, they even gave me a recorded delivery number .( saying it is with a manager) that was in the first week of march.

I called today again and was able to speak to the hsmp team directly , all they told me was that no decieson has been made yet.

Just wondering whats going on , I have read another post by a member kaushal who applied in jan.

My application is in country and under 28 applicant. Senior memebers have you come accross any similar cases.

thanks
