Settlement visa applying from Ireland

Hello all,

My hsuband is British, and I'm non EEA. We've been married for 6years and currently live in Ireland.

I'm about to apply a 2yrs settlement visa, our agent says it will take around 2 to 4 weeks. But when I checked border agency website, it says up to 12 weeks!

it would be great if someone knows avarage waiting time?
