Tier 1 Post study work and Appeal time URGENT

HI there, I m about to apply for the tier 1 psw based on my ACCA qualification. I hav heard that the policy guidance is not a law so one can apply Tier 1 psw on ACCA qualification as UK NAARIC has confirmed that it is equivalent to UK Masters degree.

I know in the policy guidance it says PROFESSIONAL AND VOCATIONAL QUALIFICATION NOT ACCEPTABLE. But solicitors are telling me that now, since policy guidance is not a law they can fight on my case. PLEASE IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW LONG IT TAKES FOR THE APPEAL TO BE SUCESSFUL AND WHETHER I SHOULD APPLY ON THIS OR NOT. IN ADDITION TO THIS WHAT ARE MY CHANCES ON ACCA BASED ON THE ASSUMPTION THAT POLICY GUIDANCE IS NOT A LAW.

PLEASE HELP ITS URGENT.... :roll:
