Safer Amount for Maintenance Funds

Post by Ankitha » Sun Jul 25, 2010 6:50 pm

Hi All,

I have been maintaining 2.9L to show Maintenance Funds for Tier1 Application.

I m planning to apply for next week.

I believe this amount would suffice.

It is required to maintain the funds for 3 months and the rate would be based on the date of letter issued by the bank or the bank statement. Have a look at the Tier-1 Guidance

Also depends on the number of dependant applicants.

Hi,

I have been maintaining funds for more than 3 months and I am going to be main and single applicant(no dependents).

Though I have been maintaining 3l plus funds for 3 months, I need some money now.
So though I take 1gbp<->85 INR, I hope its enuf if I maintain around 2.9 L
please suggest

Please don't expect people to do forex conversion(s) for you. Please read the policy guidance *carefully* on how this is to be done and which website(s) to use to do so.
