Working for a German company in Ireland, tax?

Post by sarahfancy » Wed Jul 28, 2010 12:44 pm

Hello,
We (my German husband and I) are moving to Galway in two weeks. I have a job and will be working for an Irish company. My husband may continue to work for his German employer, but will be with me in Ireland. i assume he continues to pay German tax. How does that affect my tax rate in Ireland? Does his income still "count"?

Thanks,
Sarah

Hi Sarah,

As this is a question relating more to taxation than to immigration, you might get better responses if you ask here.
