ILR dependant - FLR(M) or SET(M)

Post by Lena-C » Mon Aug 02, 2010 8:18 am

Hi,

Please, can anyone advise me on what form should I use in my case.

I've been married for 7 years and was dependant of my student husband since August 2007. That makes me dependant of my other half for 3 years.

My husband recently received ILR and I want to apply as his dependant. Should I use FLR(M) form to get a 2 year visa as a dependant of a settled in the UK person to show my commitment to him and prove authentic marriage etc. Or can I apply with SET(M) for ILR as I have already been a dependant of my other half for more than 2 years?

Hope to hear advice

Assuming that he qualified for ILR under Long residence, then see also ILR - 10 Years Long Residence.

Yes, that is exactly what you should do.
