What if Tier 1 (General) Monthly Cap Not Reached for a Month

Hi,

Have a question regarding the monthly cap for Tier 1. If the limit for a particular month is not reached do they get carried over to the next month? That is if there are still 20 visas that can be given before reaching the limit for a month, do those 20 get added in the next months quota?

Thanks for the link. But I couldnt find anywhere in there talking about what happens if cap is not reached. It only talks about when the cap is reached for a given month. Anyway was just curious to find out, not a problem if there is no answer to it!

from what i understand if the cap's not reached for a particular month the remaining visas will be carried over to the next one. Its not the monthly cap its yearly. The reason number of visas issued are capped monthly is to allow better management of the cap. However, given the number of applications its extremly unlikely that there will be any left at the end a month.[/quote]
