Tier 1 dependant child maintenance fund

Post by s3cure » Sun Aug 08, 2010 2:50 pm

I am a Tier 1 (General) visa holder. I have a 10 months old baby (who was born here in the UK). So far we didn't have any travel plans so I haven't applied for his visa. Now that we are planning to travel abroad in October I need to know a few things and I am sure I will get the right answers here.

1. Do I need to maintain a maintenance fund for my baby. If yes, how much and for how long.

2. Which form do I use for his visa ?

thanks

Child is also a dependent of the Tier 1 (General) main migrant - just as a spouse is.

from thier I am clear now that I need to have 1866 GBP for maintainance. One more question Can I prove maintainance fund from savings we have in my wife's bank account or it has to be main applicant bank account only?
