Thank you for your email. All settlement applications are lodged in Pakistan and processed in the UK. I have checked on the status of your husband's application and can confirm that your application has been processed.

The VAC will be contacting you shortly when your paperwork is ready for collection. Please do not contact them direct as this may cause a delay to all applications.

Visa was issued (according to MP on 21st July) and the stamp on the passport was for the 21st of July.

I don't know when exactly the stamp was put in, it appears the UKBA make the decision and then ISL HC stamp on the date that the visa was issued by the UKBA.

It took 2 weeks and 3 days to get my docs back from decision time and by vac was Lahore.

Total application was one day short of 14 weeks.

I am really peed. Everyone else on this board has at least had an email saying its been processed and ours hasnt.

Hi Everybody

Congratulations to all who have got their visas recently.

We are still waiting for my husbands call letter. Its now 16 weeks since we received the appeal determination and we are chasing both through emails to FCO & through the MP.

Has anybody else waited this long?

I'm just hoping once he submits the passport we get it in 4 - 6 weeks.

:(

my wife recieved call letter 4 weeks after determination.

Once passport is handed in get your MP to chase them, then insh Allah you have good chance of getting passport back within 4-6 weeks.

welcome to being involved afterall

do not worry too much budd, hopefully things go ok if your application makes the first impression, the delays in processing is because employers sometimes dont reply to emails/ phone calls, ask them if they had. if self employed then check with the accountant.

and of course allways wait for their call, they might call back.
