Post by seijionion » Fri Aug 13, 2010 2:35 pm

Hi people,

I am non-EU national who wants to marry with EU national in the UK.
Im a little nervous what to send with the application for Certificate of Approval.

Could you please give me a specific list of documents if you have experience on this?

Thank you!!

There are no extras that you need to send. Just send exactly what it says on the application. Passports, passport photos, etc...

See What documents do I need?

Also, section 3.3 of the COA guide should give you an idea regarding documents you should / may include with the application.

How about this?

"Evidence that you are free to marry or enter into a civil partnership if you have been married or in a civil partnership before."

Also would my finance be able to provide just her national ID card, instead of passport?

Thank you very much for your help!!
