Maiden Name

Post by juliajules1979 » Fri Aug 13, 2010 4:36 pm

Hi

My husband is due for his ILR (set M) soon. We have been married for 8 years but I have always used my maiden name. My passport, bank account, driving licence, literally everything is in my maiden name as I have never wanted to take my Husbands name as it is so long and difficult to pronounce! I do use the title Mrs on everything.

Will this be viewed unfavourably by the Home Office when I make my application?

Many thanks

No,
My wife still uses her maiden name and my kids use mine as their sir name. It has been six years and never had any problem.
