about IAFT-2

I applied for family visiter visa and i got refused I made the appeal IAFT-2 my question is how long will the embassy take to answer me? Help please

It will take 20working days for the embassy to review their decision and if the decision is overturn, they will contact you to submit passport for visa. If they stick to their decision it will go on to appeal which will take up to 6month

Thanks for that information but i asked for this visa to go in October to see my mother in law with my wife so if the embassy does not call within those 20 days will it be refused or can i call to find out can they answer me by the phone or not?? thank you

You have already been refused.

The appeal form you sent on appeal will be reviewed Takes about 20 working days.If on review it is overturned then the visa will be granted then you will be notified and will be asked to bring your passport for the visa to be stamped in it. If

If on the other hand you haven't received or heard anything within above time period you can assume that it has not been overturned and will be heard at an appeal hearing which can take up to 6 months
