Anglicans generally, not people who will switch religions at a drop of a hat just to get a visa.

The Vicar will generally need to have known both parties for a while, seen them in Church, proper church-goers.

So that's that door slammed shut mate!

Can you not just go to a third country and marry your gf, come back before your visa ends and apply using flr(m)? What visa are you on and when does it expire?

I still wonder what is the answer.

I think it do like a register office where you can register your marriage irrespective of religion.

I am not talking of sham marriages.

That's ridiculous of you to urgently use a religious group for the purpose of your own benefit and selfishness :x Obviously they will be checking to see if you are:
1. proper church members
2. are you even a christian
3. will you be attending the church after you are married

So basically you are planning on using the institution to stay in the country. You should have applied earlier or as others have suggested.... get married in your own country and solve your family matters at home.

Anglican marriage

Also one party must be resident in the Parish where the marriage is going to take place for 4 weeks and the other party will need to show which parish he or she is living too. Banns of marriage will also need to be read in each Parish

Not a quick fix for a scam marriage
