Tier 2 Dependent

Post by deep_707 » Tue Aug 17, 2010 2:53 pm

Hello All,
I am very new in this forum. I am planning to migrate my current Tier 2 visa to Tier 1. I have downloaded the forms and arranging the documents.
The dependent form available at the UKBA site is located at
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/worki ... ationform/
But the forms which is there looks to be Tier 2 dependent, can someone help me to locate the current Tier 1 dependent form?

And also can you please let me know if a Tier 2 dependent has to go for a English even for category switch from Tier 2 to Tier 1, and this has to be done prior to the application?

Thanks a lot in advance
Any help is highly appreciated.

Regards

If I am not mistaken, PBS dependent forms are same across the different categories!

What do you mean by "go for english"? English language test? That, when it becomes a rule, will be applicable only for spouses / partners of settled persons / citizens.

Thanks a lot for the prompt reply.
I now realise its the same form for all the dependent. And by the second question I want to know about the new rule, that is the English knowledge test for dependent. Is it that the test has to be completed before the new application is made?

Thanks and Regards

The english test is only for partners of british citizens or persons settled (ILR/PR) here, not for tier 1 dependants.
