Number of Dependents 0

Post by vdotcherukuri » Thu Aug 19, 2010 2:59 pm

Hello all

Me and my wife applied for tier 4 general Visa and has been approved. I am a dependent and my wife is the main applicant. In the visa stamp for my wife it is

Type: visa tier 4 general student
number of dependants: 0

in My visa stamp it is:

Type: visa tier 4 general Dep.Partner <My Wife Name>
number of depedants: 0

My question is if i am a dependent of my wife, that means number of dependents in her visa should be 1. Why is it mentioned as 0 in my wife visa stamping.

Will that be a problem when we plan to enter UK. In the entire stamp there is no other proof that she has a dependent.

Thanks
Vikram

That part of the sticker is for dependents in your passports, for example children in some countries' passports. If you each have your own passport the sticker relates to you and no dependents.
