NAZ786 Yes i know but why i am stress becouse this is my 2nd application for spuse visa and first application was refused in 2008 becouse they dont belive our marriage was subsisting and at that time my wife was not working but now she is working and we submitd so many profes of subsisting marrige as she was with me at the time when we submitd our 2nd application again but u know what i feel and she is Alhumdolilah expecting so i dont no what will the UK things do with our lifes.

I think you should not worry about things too much now, as you have submitted your case inshallah, if your wife is in a job then there should be no problems!
Just think positive? being negative will not help! I know how it feels so Inshallah Allah Knows best...

My Status is: Visa Application is under process at the British High Commission!

After 20 weeks and 2 days (is that a record?) my wife finally got her passport today with the visa.

Application made: 31st March 2010 at Lahore
Decision Made: 20th May 2010
Visa reissued: 12th August 2010
Application ready for collection: 19th August 2010
Application collected: 20th August 2010

There were no employment checks made and there was no change to the online status until yesterday (nearly 5 months). It was only after a few emails and the last one sent on the 12th August that the visa, according to them, was reissued. So from 20th May to 12th August there was no progress, I have no idea what they were doing with the documents for so long. Also the only visa on the passport was from 12th August, none from the 20th May. I was worried that even if she got the visa, the three months would have been up but thank God she got it and there was no long depressing appeal process to go through.

I pray that everyone whos waiting also gets their visa and congratulations to everyone else who has.

basically i need to show statements from a friend, and 2 from family members.

Can anyone please help. Can anyone show me a template of a witness statement from family member or friend i can follow as quick as possible by tomarrow, im in distress please.

and what are the main points i need to put in the statement

i appealed and have hearing in early september please, all pray for me. i applied last november, refused in january, submitted refusal notice in febrauary, got my hearing date in september, its taken 7 months to get to hearing stage.

Who has asked you to get 3 witness statements for where you live?

Are you a sponsor if so then your bank statements, wage slips, council tax, utility bills, and any other bill will have your address on it as proof,
That would be the best form of ID in a way to confirm where you live.

I dont know where you have got the idea of doing a witness statement or who has asked you to do it. 1st I have heard of it?
