Disabled person asked to submit biometric details third time

Post by ska_abbas » Fri Aug 20, 2010 6:58 pm

Hi all,

My brother applied for family visit visa on 23rd June 2010 from Islamabad Pakistan. He is amputated with both arms. On 15 July he was asked to come in at Gerrys Islamabad to submit his biometric details again which they were supposed to take initially.

Now today he got a message from Gerrys to come in again and resubmit biometric details again. This is stupid, unacceptable and totally unprofessional. He doesn't have arms and he is asked to submit his biometric details again and again. It like they are making a mockery of him and discriminating against him. His summer holidays are almost finished and we are still in a limbo not sure what is going to happen.

I wanted to make a complaint to an independent watch dog; can anybody suggest anything.

thanks
