Guys please do not stress about status changes, etc, just wait and relax, when the times right, you guys will get the decision.

Just enjoy Ramadan till then, and also enjoy the fact that at the moment its only to wait and have no other responsibilities. Everyone will inshAllah get a visa.

No buddy they never contacted my employer. I guess it all depends on if they do want to verify. If they have any doubts, they will go ahead and verify that by contacting your employer. But eitherway every application is different so you can't really say which ones get contacted and which ones don't.

Ikhlaq if your status is under process then that is the correct status. Don't expect another update until early October at the earliest and possibly even late October as some people's is taking longer than 12 weeks.

Alhamdalillah my husband was issued the visa and he has just collected his passport....

Can blive it, all that waiting and finally that time is here...

Decision Made: 25th May 2010
Application ready for collection: 19th August 2010

Employment checks were not made as i am a DWP Employee, and i am self employed....

Have Sabar people your time will come soon inshallah...my duas are wid you all.

I know the waiting was getting v.difficult especially as it had been so long so really pleased ALLAH has chosen you today.

Congratulations to all who received visas on Friday, especially farahussain! I know you were quite worried. AlhumduliAllah your sabr has paid off! You're lucky your hubby's coming straight away. My hubby's coming in September inshaAllah so gota wait another couple of weeks! But I guess it gives me time to sort a few things out here and my hubby to spend bit more time with his family back home. Everything happens for the best. The main thing is he'll be with me very soon inshaAllah

I am seeing loads of people talking about employer being contacted. No one has contacted my employers (or at least i dont know about it). I have submitted my tennancy agreement along with council tax statement and utility bill. I rent a property, do they also contact the landlord/estate agent? Just so that i can let my landlord know.

Thank you for your email of 12 August 2010 enquiring about the progress of your wife's visa application. Applications for settlement in the UK are processed by our visa section in London. I have checked on the status of her application and can confirm that it is under consideration. Once a decision has been reached her documents will be returned to the Visa Application Centre (Gerry’s). They will contact her as soon as they receive them. If you have any further enquiries about your application please send them to UKHUB.PakistanSettlementEnquiriesandComplaints@fco.gsi.gov.uk .

i did ask my manager if they have contacted her or HR they havent contacted her but i will go wqork on tuesday and ask HR. I really dont know what they are doing with my application. I emailed them last wedenesday and they said a decision hasnt been made yet.
