Re-Entry Visa and Spanish Visa

Post by RathJohn » Sun Aug 22, 2010 7:26 pm

Hi,

I am planning on travelling to spain for a long weekend soon, with my ukrainian wife. She is here on stamp 4, as spouse of Irish National. Do we have to Queue all day at GNIB office in burgh quay for the re-entry visa, and does anyone know whats required and and how long the spanish visa takes? I assume that the spanish embassy should just put the visa in here passport free of charge and without delay, is this correct?

Thanks
John

I think Irish's spouse has got only Stamp4, not Stamp4 EU Fam.
Therefore, your wife needs both re-entry visa and visa to Spain.

For Re-entry visa, your wife can go there alone. You don't have to go with her. She just has to bring your passport/ID card and marriage certificate.

About visa to Spain, find more info here.
