Skilled migration to New Zealand

I am applying under skilled migration in New Zealand.
Will New Zealand immigration officials come to my office address to check for my details? Also will they call or email to my company to check or to verify my details? I am worried as I do not want my company to know that I am applying to New Zealand immigration till I resign. Because if my company will know I have applied for New Zealand immigration than my promotion that I am about to get in Nov will be stopped or delayed.

hi,how many points i needed to secured the visa skilled class immigration.please suggest me in this concern soon because i am going to apply for new zeland.

NZ officer will take 1.5 yrs from your date of appplication to start processing your visa..so no need to worry..:-)
