Hi, another question about the VAF form!

It asks 'how often do you meet' and im not sure what to put as we spent a month together after we got married but obv have not seen each other since then. we first met in 2008 but i was only there for a month an did not go back until the wedding earlier this year

Hi, Just a quick update...my status changed today to 'Visa application is under process at the Britsh High commission 27/08/10' hope all goes well INSHALLAH.

Anyway Anyone still not applied in August??

My partner submitted fiance application in lahore 20/7/10.
The status changed on 3/8/10 to "application is under process".

Any idea how much longer it will take. Im very much concerned as my job is a fixed term contract so it will be ending in december. Will this affect the decision? My employer has not been contacted yet.

I really hope he gets the visa!

Hey tasawar, they orginally contacted my employers on 12/08/10 and the HR dept contacted me to ask for my permission if they can give my details, but I wasnt in work, i went back to work this thursday just gone and confirmed that they can give my details, so hopefully the UK Border Agency should have the details with them now.

YES of course it is necessary. Its helping members like myself knowing others are in the same boat as me. So im not alone and also can talk to others whom have handed there apps in around the same time as me, being able to share info also reponses, status change etc. Were able to commuicate with the members whom handed apps in months before us and see what there visa status is at. So we know what to expect come the time, and know roughly when to expect changes.

How can it possibly be diverting the topic? whats the heading spouse visa applications..I think your forgetting the forum is about spouse settlement (Pakistan)

And yes we are posting issues and information as and when our status changes or any experience we have had were sharing with others eg, letters, telephone calls, emails responses from UKBA,Gerry's

Its not normal for them to do that as even August members have had status changes to under process at BHC.

You would think to have online service would be upto date.

Please let me know if anything changes.

Yes this is still bothering me! I called Gerrys five times yesterday, because everytime I called they could not hear me! And everytime I got a lady called Sara. Anyhow when I gave her my hubbys ref number and DOB, straightway she said 'Your aplication is under process at the British High Commision', before I had the chance to ask her about the online status she hung up!!!!!!!!!!!

We just gotta sit tight I guess!

what will happen if after my wife has submitted her spousal VISA application to come to the UK i change jobs. is there a way to update or notify the relevant officials of a job change when an application is being processed??

i have been placed on a waiting list for a new job. i really want to take on this job when its offered to me but im worried it may affect the application.

my wife submitted our application in today (30/08/2010) in islamabad and she got a text message stating her visa refeernce number and it says that the visa application has been dispatched to the british high commission for processing.

can anyone plz advise of the next steps that I should take and what I should expect?????

my husband went to submit his docs in mirpur today and was told he couldnt do so for a month! i was really shocked at this and thought you could just apply when you had all the relevant stuff.

In English word "God i"s used for Allah.

I think you know that.

The have the same meaning.

I call Allah `God` and I am happy with that.

I dont know this topic is for making lists who applied in which month.I simply said keep this thread to issues and information.
